Select the Automatic Hinge - Hinge Arm length and Lift Mechanism power factor is selected automatically and reported in place of the Automatic Aventos HL Hinge

Note: Our Aventos HL package uses Cabinet Vision's Hinge and Hinge Plate parts. There is currently a limitation in the Cabinet Vision software where hinges and hinge plates aren't able to be managed properly as 'Pairs'. We hope to see an an option for 'Pairs' of hinges soon, the same way Drawer Guides report as a pair - We will update the package to report 'Sets' if that ever happens. For this reason we are currently reporting each Lift Mechanism and each hinge arm. Please allow for this when you set the price for each item and when you are ready to order your hinges from Blum.

Example 1 - Hinge Schedule selected at assembly level

The Blum Aventos HL setup for Cabinet Vision includes a hinge material shedule intended for selection when all doors in an assembly require Aventos HL

  1. Section View > Properties
  2. Hardware
  3. Select the Blum HL Aventos Hinge Schedule
  4. The result

Example 2 - Hinge selected in Section View Door Properties

For a second example I'll select the Automatic Aventos HL hinge for the top door only on a cabinet with two doors, one above the other.

  1. Section View > Face > Right Click the door > Properties (or Double Click the door)
  2. Select Hinges
  3. Change the Hinge
  4. Navigate > Hinge > Blum > Aventos HL >
  5. Select the Blum HL Aventos Automatic Hinge
  6. The result

c) Similar steps we used on the second example but in the third example, the HL Aventos is used on the bottom door...

Extra hinges for wide doors

In this example we have used an extra wide door and select extra hinges to support the extra weight of a wide door. This unit is 1200mm wide x 760mm high. We pick up here after I've sectioned the Face to have one door above another and selected the HL Aventos Hinge Schedule.

  1. Section Interior > Attach a fixed shelf to the Horizontal Face Split between the two doors
  2. Vertical Split > Add partition inside the top section
  3. Repeat Vertical Split to the lower section
  4. Section Face
  5. Open Door Properties > Hinge tab > Change the number of hinges to 3 or 4
  6. Repeat for the lower door

Note: The Power Factor will re-calculate automatically to suit the load on each hinge...

b) The position of the 3rd and 4th HL Aventos Lift Hinges will find the partition automatically.

The Lift Mechanism Power Factor is completely automatic, however, you can override the Power Factor if you wish...

  1. Select the Lift Mechanism in one of the Orthographic Views
  2. From the side bar you have an attribute that allows any Lift Mechanism to be selected

If for any reason you wish to fine tune the position of the Lift Mechanism or the Lever Arms, simply select the part in one of the Orthographic Views and you can adjust from the side bar.

Note: If you have our Parametric Adjustments for Parts in Orthographic Views App you are able to use that.

  1. Select the Lift Mechanism in one of the Orthographic Views
  2. From the side bar you have an attribute that allows parametric position adjustments *
