Set Up your Drawing Title Block

Setting up your Title Block to keep all the details for the job visible to all

In this article, we will show how to edit your Title Block to suit your business

a) Most of the common items are already in the basic Title Block.

 

If you would like the Designer Name in the Title Block, then this will need to be inserted in the Company Name of the User tab of the Preferences box.

b) Designer Name is set in the Preferences from the Scratch Scene > User > Insert your name under Company Name

c) To Edit the Title Block

  • Left Click on the Drawings Library

d) Open the Drawings Library catalogue and select the Title Block to amend

  • Copy this Title Block and Rename
  • Select the Edit button

e) The Title Block will then reveal all the links which have been selected for their respective text.  To include other items:

  • Left Click on the section you wish to add or edit and select 'Edit' from the drop down box

f) Select 'Text' from the Ribbon Bar at the top of the page.  This brings the Text box to the screen

Type in the Text box the Title you wish to be seen in the Title Block

  • Left Click the drop down box to the right of the Text box
  • Left Click Job > Left Click User > Left Click {user name}
  • Text and link appear in Text box
  • Select 'OK' and place the text link in the position you wish

Job Comments are added when filling in the Job Properties.  The first Tab on the left hand side is 'Job', enter your comments in the Comment tab.

Now you have a professional looking Plan Sheet.
