Things to consider...
- Storage Space
- Click "This PC" in windows explorer and review GB free space (You'll need at least 11 GB)
- Installation Type
- If your PC is "stand-alone" install you're ok to proceed. The same install defaults used on the previous version install will be used
- If your PC is the "Network Server" for a network installation, you're ok to proceed. The same install defaults used on the previous version install will be used again
- If your PC is a network "workstation" > Stop! (The server needs to use the download file first - Your workstation is set up using the server netsetup files afterward)
Run the Installation...
- Turn off any Anti Virus and Malware software "until restart"
- This is important so the installation has the best opportunity to successfully install and register the files used by CABINET VISION 2021
- Right Click > Run as Administrator (Or simply double click the file if your user account settings allow)
- Click on "More Info"
- Click "Run Anyway"
- Click Yes and accept the default location (Setup files are extracted)
- Follow the instructions to complete the install - We highly recommend importing CV12 data if possible (The higher the version the better!)

IMPORTING YOUR DATABASE - The older the version you import, the greater the number of changes to the new program database = More update modifications expected
- Installing every version allows for more realistic/manageable "steps" and is therefore a lot less obstructive to keeping your software investment up-to-date
