Responsibility for live jobs in the manufacturing environment remains with the business/manufacturer. While a member of Joinery IT 2022 Limited is able to cast a second set of eyes over a live job, they are not responsible for any mistakes that make it into production.

Production deadlines...
It is customers own responsibility to ensure adequate stock of "processed jobs" with output ready for CNC at all times. When unforeseen issues arise, this avoids possible loss of income.
Joinery IT 2022 Limited is not responsible for production deadlines or any delays that may occur while supporting customer issues related to installation or use of CABINET VISION software.

System configurations...
Joinery IT 2022 Limited does not supply computer hardware or computer/network IT. Joinery IT 2022 Limited is not responsible for differing outcomes experienced due to different hardware and IT configurations.

Software backups...
Yes, Joinery IT will often back up database files while connected on TeamViewer. However, every customer should operate indifferently, making backups of data and jobs.

2. Availability for CABINET VISION software support...

Joinery IT endeavors to be available, during business hours, to New Zealand based and South Pacific Island based CABINET VISION customers with current HEXAGON MI - SMA.

From March 2023...
Upon renewal of HEXAGON MI - SMP Grandfather and/or HEXAGON MI - SMA you have been notified of Joinery IT 2022 Limited "Terms of Business".

CABINET VISION production software relies on several components to be working effectively.

Production computer...
Your production work station is key to your business's production and downtime could be costly. For your consideration, here are some recommendations that while not critical, may reduce interruptions to production if implemented.

  • Keep Windows operating system and security software up to date
  • To avoid possible license interruption - Keep HEXAGON MI - SMA up to date, paid in full and paid for on time
  • To avoid possible software conflicts - Consider having a dedicated PC for CABINET VISION
    • No Microsoft Office 365
    • No Accounting software
    • No MRP/CRM software
    • No games from Microsoft Store for the kids
  • Exceed the minimum PC Specification
    • One example: 500GB SSD is really the minimum for an effective production PC

4. Training how to use CABINET VISION software...

Please remain present for remote training sessions. We aim to deliver concise time efficient training. With remote training in such high demand, our trainers time is precious. Leaving the training session, to conduct other business for just a minute, will usually conclude the session.

Customising your CABINET VISION Library...
Customisation of the library is good material for training. Expect one of your "in-house" team to manage the customisation of your library, someone to be responsible for localised edits that may be required in your manufacturing operation.

Not training a Detailer how to detail...

Joinery IT is not required to take responsibility for any complications that may arise during the install process on your computer system. Easy to follow installation instructions are included on the install media and several companies choose to take care of their own software installs.

If you prefer to outsource installations...
Joinery IT 2022 Limited is available to perform installations and to trouble-shoot any install issues that may arise. This service is chargeable, and the customer is responsible for any extra time/charge to resolve issues if any arise.

Saving us time saves you money...
When engaging Joinery IT 2202 Limited to install software, you can take to following actions to reduce your "chargeable duration".

  1. Download media from the Customer Portal prior to your booking/session
  2. Restart PC
  3. Turn off AV (anti-virus) software "until restart"
  4. Ensure your PC has more than 25GB free space
