Order Entry
Order Entry screen shows a list of everything that appears in the Job and some of the general properties of each item.
a) Side Bar > Catalogs
- This allows for items within the catalogs to be added to the Job directly through the order entry screen - in this case - a Cutlery tray
- Highlight the Cutlery Tray > drag and drop on the cabinet to be added to
b) Cutlery tray added to 19 - Base 3 Dwr and numbered 19.1 and the product name
Items added in this manner allow the job to have all costs covered in the overall quote of the Job. These items appear in Reports and the Bid but will not appear in the Floor Plan, Elevation, or 3D views.
The Order Entry screen is a great option for adding a group of units to get a price but not necessarily requiring a plan. I.e. A group of cabinets required for supply only and you need a cost. The advantage is that you do not have to draw Walls, place Objects, yet, all other features are available, such as cut list, material summaries, section editing, bidding etc. The Cabinet List at the Report Centre does not allow near the data modification available here.
